# mybill.city

**Free municipal bill intelligence for City of Johannesburg residents.**

mybill.city lets you upload your CoJ billing statements and instantly see years
of consumption history, tariff drift, and billing anomalies — in one clean
dashboard. Private by design.

## What it does

- **Parses your PDFs automatically** — drag and drop your CoJ statements and
  the data is extracted within seconds. The original PDFs are deleted
  immediately after parsing; we keep only the numbers.
- **Tracks trends over time** — eight charts covering power (kWh), water (kL),
  rate per unit, year-on-year comparisons, and cost breakdown by service.
- **Detects anomalies** — months where the bill is more than 50 % above your
  24-month rolling average are flagged automatically.
- **Supports multiple properties** — add as many CoJ accounts as you need;
  view each individually or as a combined "All properties" rollup.
- **Exports to Excel and PDF** — download your full statement history as a
  workbook, or generate a printable PDF report of the current view.
- **Share read-only access** — invite a family member or accountant to view
  your dashboard. They see the data; they cannot change anything.
